3D Printer

Thank you for your interest in 3D printing services at our library.  Our 3D printer is an Adventurer 3 Pro designed by Flashforge.  (Visit the Flashforge site if you are interested in further specs for this model.)  The 3D printer is available for public use to make simple three-dimensional objects in plastic using a design that is uploaded from a digital computer file.  Here is a little about the procedure for use:

Patrons may submit a request to print their digital .stl file using the online form below.  Staff will review the request to ensure that it meets the conditions of our 3D Printer Policy and may at that time request the actual .stl file by email for verification and printing purposes.  Files may not take more than eight hours to print, and users agree to pay a materials fee of $.10 (10 cents) per gram of filament used for the project.

The library reserves the right to refuse any 3D print request.  Staff will handle printing the file within the library and patrons have up to one week to pick up the printed item at the Reference Desk on the second floor. Items not picked up in time become property of the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library.

Please contact Lindley Valcarcel, Reference and Technology Librarian, at [email protected] for further questions or followup.

By submitting the request below, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to our library’s 3D Printer Policy.
