Hamilton-Wenham cardholders and other Merrimack Valley Library Consortium (MVLC) patrons have access to Overdrive through library membership with MVLC.  Sometimes, though, the material you want may already be checked out or on hold for other patrons.  Thanks to the Overdrive Reciprocal Lending Agreement (RLA), you now have the ability to access the Overdrive holdings of other library systems across Massachusetts.

These eight systems are treated as “partner libraries” and will accept your valid Hamilton-Wenham or MVLC library card number.  Sign into the Overdrive for any of these systems by visiting their Overdrive page and clicking the Sign In button.  On the Sign In page, select your “library” from dropdown (ie. “Merrimack Valley Patrons”) and enter your library card number for access.  OR, use the Overdrive or Libby app to add different library systems and get the materials you want.

Other systems may have different rules about loan times or how many items can be borrowed at once, so pay attention when checking items out.
